A London girl born and bred, fiercely energetic and an enthusiast for life.  Abi has been singing and playing instruments since she can remember and after many years as a jobbing actor, she started writing songs in 2000.  Her artist project has developed from acoustic folk, through dark pop, singer-songwriter, electro pop, nu disco… She has had songs synced in film and TV - most notably Disney and a Cannes Film Festival winning film.  She is always compelled to find a truth in her songwriting and is never afraid to experiment.  ‘Be true to yourself and others and the rest will fall into place.’

In addition to her artist project, Abi Hercules' songwriting spans genres.  She is a skilful wordsmith, gifted storyteller and a versatile, prolific songwriting force.  Hooks and melodies are her superpower and she brings boundless energy and ideas to the writing room. Raw, honest and often playful songwriting inspired by her own experiences and those of others and the world that surrounds us. Abi is a generous collaborator, particularly skilled at nurturing other artists, supporting them to draw from their own experiences to feed their creativity.
